[J]ust another ordinary day

Emerald was new in town and she didn't know anyone yet. it was new years day and she was not only bored out of her mind, but lonely as well. She walked slowly down a path in a park not to far from the school. Emerald hated having to move here especially since it was her last year of school. Emerald didn't know how she was going to survive the year. Hopefully things got better.

As Emerald continued to walk down the path she sighed and let thoughts run through her head. Her light brown hair flowed with the wind and her sad blue eyes held the reflection of the sun in the centre. She was wearing jeans and a white tank top, with a silver locket on a chain around her neck. On her feet she wore a pair of tall brown boots. Emerald kept walking looking at all the surroundings. She saw a bench and decided to sit down on it.

The rreddish colored purebreed stopped near a bench and Charlie happily sat down. Her mind began to realize who was sitting next to her, basketball girl. She turned and gave the girl and sweet smile. Charlie was a cheerleader, cute a little pretty and could do a few cheers. She may had been new tothe school but she fit in like a glove and kowing a super model wasn't to bad either. Charlie had it set all but the boy at her side. " thanks my dad gave it to me when I was younger " she said with a little smile. She looked down to Sammy, " thanks his names Sammy " she said petting the now tired Austrailian Shepherd.

I go to the clud around here more then dorm parties and number one thing is I leave with a friend and go with a friend " she said with a nod toward her own answer. As a girl around here, anything could happen to you, you just had to be careful about it.

"Yah... I think I might go there tonight. Or tommorow. One or the other." Emerald looked down at the ground and sighed. She quickly looked back up at Charlie. "So...guy wise. Is there lots of single guys around here? I would love to find one decent guy who I can call my own." She felt kind of weird saying this to a girl she barely knew and hoped she wasn't judged by it.
